The following students were placed on Haverhill Alternative School's third quarter honor roll — Jesse Cunningham and Chris Cook earned distinction; Elijah Jackson, Adam Dalomba, Cambry Drouin, Max Sullivan, Josh Rogers, Moise Raphael and Derek Darko earned high honors; Shaine Clarke Reynolds, Jacob Desell-King, Esias Johnson and Jason LeBlanc earned honors.

Steven Spicer, son of Scott and Beth Spicer of Bradford, has been named to the dean's list for each of his first three terms of study at Bridgewater State University. He is a 2010 graduate of Central Catholic High School.

Allison Spicer, daughter of Scott and Beth Spicer of Bradford, has graduated from the honors program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. A 2008 graduate of Haverhill High, Spicer finished her bachelor of science degree a semester early. She double majored in environmental science and psychology, with a minor in education. Spicer also obtained a certificate in permaculture, the science of designing and building self-sustaining agricultural ecosystems. She is currently working as a teacher's aide/curriculum assistant at Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School in Amherst. As she did last year, she will be designing and directing the summer camp program for the school.

Robyn Marie Arthur has graduated from Bridgewater State University, Bartlett College of Science and Mathematics, with a bachelor of arts degree in biology. She is the daughter of Barbara and Steve Arthur of West Meadow Hill in Haverhill.

Sarah Shadallah of Bradford, daughter of Steven and Celeste Shadallah of Salem, N.H., has received her master's degree in nursing from Rivier College. Shadallah graduated with high distinction and was a member of Sigma Theta Thau International Honor Society. She graduated in 2008 from Salve Regina University with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She will work for Happy & Healthy Family Medicine in Salem, N.H. as a nurse practitioner.
