Two-day Red Cross Babysitter Training Course, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday and 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday at Dance Connection, 8 Rockingham Road, Windham. Attendance on both days is required. $45 per person. Space is limited to 12 students. Full payment is required at the time of registration. Deadline to register is Jan. 25. Saturday, Feb. 2

Hospice Volunteer Training, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Fidelis Hospice office in Haverhill. Free and open to community members interested in becoming hospice volunteers or who would like to learn more about hospice care. Topics include “Hospice History and Philosophy,” “Care and Comfort,” “Communication Skills” and “Spirituality in Hospice.” Volunteers provide caring companionship to people with terminal illnesses. Child Find Check, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hampstead Central School. Sponsored by the Hampstead School District to screen children between the ages of birth and 6 for possible educational disabilities. The screening will be done by trained professionals. All results will be kept confidential and will only be released to other professionals, i.e. school system or physician with parental consent. Free to Hampstead residents.
