Friday, March 8

Fifth annual Haverhill High School Comedy Night, at DiBurro’s Function Hall. Four professional comedians will perform. The event will include raffle items as well as silent and live auction items. All proceeds will benefit the Haverhill High School Athletic Program. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the high school, 137 Monument St. 978-374-5732.

“A KNIGHT OF COMEDY,” 8:30 p.m. at Lots of Laughs Comedy Lounge at China Blossom, 946 Osgood St., North Andover. Hosted by the North Andover Athletic Association. Features six comedians, a silent auction of sports memorabilia, and a 50/50 raffle. Doors will open at 7 p.m. $25 per person in advance, $30 at the door. Saturday, March 9

Saturday Night Ballroom Dance/St. Patrick’s Day Dance, 7 p.m. at the Methuen Senior Activity Center, 77 Lowell St. With Boots and Company. $9 per person. 978-983-8825.

Sunday, March 10

Haverhill Train Show, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Haverhill High School. Proceeds will support the Haverhill High School Band. Model and toy trains of different sizes will be operating on several displays. Dealers will have train-related books, photos, models and toys. $5 for adults, $1 for ages 6-12, free for children under 6. Band members and parents, current and alumni, who can help with the show are encouraged to do so. 978-373-0704.

March 10, April 14 & May 19

Free Intro to Yoga, 9 to 10:30 a.m. at UnionStudio Yoga, 305 North Main St., Andover. Open to those who are new to yoga but not quite ready to jump into their first class. This free one hour class teaches principles of correct alignment, guidelines for breathing, and basic poses for strength, flexibility and balance. With instructor Connie Glore, RYT. 978-761-3433.
