Vintage Base Ball Clubs, including The Essex Base Ball Club and Lynn Live Oaks Base Ball Club, who play throughout the North Shore and Merrimack Valley, are looking for anyone interested in 19th century baseball. They are currently recruiting players, umpires, scorekeepers and sideline interpreters. The College Club of Greater Lawrence, a women’s organization that strives to develop an interest in college work, provides scholarships to students in the Greater Lawrence area who will attend four-year, degree-granting institutions, and promotes sociability among college-educated women. The Downtown Women’s Club, invites the public to mix and mingle with Andover’s professional network of women.
