Sign in and enjoy refreshments at 6 p.m. UNH Cooperative Extension and NH Listens have been asked by NH’s nine regional planning commissions to design and host an opportunity for neighbors to talk with neighbors to identify local assets, local needs, and ways to effectively use limited government resources. 21st Greater Hampstead/Plaistow CROP Hunger Walk, 1 p.m. step-off ceremony beginning at Hampstead Congregational Church, 61 Main St. Registration is at 12:30 p.m. All are welcome to participate in the 1 mile or 10K walk around Sunset Lake. Held rain or shine. The goal is to reach $21,000 and take on the challenge grant from Feinstein that ends on April 30. Participating congregations/churches include: Hampstead Congregational Church, St. Anne’s Catholic Church, St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, First Baptist Church of Plaistow, Holy Angels Catholic Church, Atkinson Congregational Church, and Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church.
