29th National Night Out, 4 to 7 p.m. in the parking lot of the Target store located in the Broadway Business Park off Route 97. Hosted by the Haverhill Police Department. The free cookout features live music, a dunk tank, games and crafts. Rain or shine. Members of Haverhill High School’s VIP Team (Violence Intervention Prevention) will offer free face painting to children. Traffic and safety officer Edward Watson will assist in the installation as well as inspection of children’s car seats.
