2012 State Primary Candidates’ Night, 7 p.m. at the Memorial Hall Library, 2 North Main St., Andover. Hosted by the League of Women Voters. Candidates for the Republican nomination for the 2nd Essex and Middlesex District State Senate seat, Paul Adams and Alex Vispoli, will attend the event. “Stories in the Street,” 10 to 11 a.m. at the Farmers’ Market, 216 Lawrence St., Lawrence, and 1 to 2 p.m. at the Andover Historical Society, 97 Main St. Children’s storyteller, Nicolette Nordin Heavey, will bring her animated performances of folktales and fables.
