24th Annual Intertribal Pow-Wow & Crafts Fair/Educational Discussion, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Plug Pond, Mill Street, Haverhill. Hoop dancer, Celina Cada-Matasawagon (Ojibway) from Sheshegwaning First Nation in Ontario, Canada, will perform. An educational discussion will be offered on Sunday around noon. Includes intertribal and demonstration dancing, drumming and singing, craftmaking, Iroquois songs and social dances with Dave Little Tree, visits inside the tipi, storytelling, Native games, information, resources, and membership tables, arts and crafts. There will also be traditional Native food. $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and MCNAA members, $3 for children ages 4-12, free for children 3 and under. Free parking. Annual Saint Michael Parish Picnic, after an outdoor noon Mass on the North Andover Common. Lunch will be available at a cost of $5 per person. Festivities include games for children and adults, a DJ, and more. Tickets will be on sale following all Masses on Aug. 24 and 25, and again on Sept. 1 and 2. Tickets can also be purchased at the Saint Michael Pastoral Center or on the Common the day of the event.
