North & South: Why The Civil War Happened, 2 to 3:30 p.m. at The Center at Punchard (The Center), 30 Whittier Court, Andover. Presented by Don Robb, this program will focus on the split between North and South and make links between national events and incidents in Andover. Cost is $15. Gentle Yoga Class, 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. at First Church Congregational, 26 Pleasant St., Methuen. All ages and all fitness levels welcome. Stretch and relax the mind.
