MERRIMACK & NASHOBA VALLEYS — The Northeast Association of REALTORS (NEAR) reports that the combined sales of single-family homes in the 15 cities and towns from Boxford to Littleton in April had a median sales price of $314,000, a decrease of 6.3 percent compared with April 2013. The median sales price for condominiums sold in April was $204,901, a 7.5 percent decrease from April 2013. Multi-family prices increased 17.3 percent from April 2013, with a median of $251,000. This report is based on data from MLS Property Information Network in Shrewsbury. The combined sales of single-family homes in the 15 cities and towns from Boxford to Littleton in April totaled 233, 2.5 percent less than were sold in April 2013. There were 99 condominium sales in April, a decrease of 17.5 percent. Multi-family sales were down 26.7 percent from April 2013. The Northeast Association of REALTORS is one of 1,500 local chapters of the National Association of REALTORS. Officially, NEAR covers 15 cities and towns from Boxford to Littleton, though it has members from more than 50 cities and towns in the Merrimack and Nashoba valleys as well as southern New Hampshire.
