Electronics recycling offered in Hampstead

HAMPSTEAD — The Hampstead Lions Club is holding an electronic and small/large appliance recycling fundraiser tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the junction of Routes 111 and 121.

Get rid of old printers, TVs, VCRs, stereo, washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners and more. Fees range from $5 for things like fax machines and small microwaves to $25 for full computer systems.

Funds raised will support the Lions' charitable work in the community.

Yard sale funds breast cancer cure

HAVERHILL — The 3-day team Sisters Walking With Hope for the fight against breast cancer will hold a yard sale today from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 128 and 131 Winona Ave.

All proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure team. The team is composed of Lynn Greenlay-Bucuzzo and Christine Benjamin of Haverhill and Catherine Fobes of Reading. Sandown club hosts big plant sale

SANDOWN — The Sandown Garden Club will host its fifth annual plant sale tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of the fire station on Main Street. All plants have been donated from residents' gardens, so they are hardy and thrive in this climate. Shop early for the best selection.
