Steve Lyons Memorial Rock Out & Cookout, noon at Winnekenni Castle, Haverhill. Features live music, games for all ages, food and more. Aug. 25 & 26

Pentucket Players will hold Auditions for “Sunset Boulevard,” 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rogers Center for the Arts, Merrimack College, North Andover. Saturday auditions will be for the roles of Joe, Max, Betty, Artie and the ensemble, which is made up of 35-50 roles ranging in age from 16 to 70+. Sunday auditions will be for the role of Norma Desmond, and call-backs for Joe and Max. The production will be presented at the Rogers Center Nov. 16-24. pentucketplayers.org.
