Re-opening of Friendly’s as a full-service restaurant concept, 10 a.m. at the restaurant, 90 Pleasant Valley St., Suite 244, Methuen. The day will kick-off with the one-hour distribution of free sundae cups to the general public in attendance at the event, immediately followed by a visit from recently-appointed Friendly’s CEO John Maguire and Mayor Stephen Zanni, who will celebrate the restaurant’s re-launch by serving guests the location’s first official scoop of ice cream.
