21st Greater Hampstead/Plaistow CROP Hunger Walk, 1 p.m. step-off ceremony beginning at Hampstead Congregational Church, 61 Main St. Registration is at 12:30 p.m. All are welcome to participate in the 1 mile or 10K walk around Sunset Lake. Held rain or shine. The goal is to reach $21,000 and take on the challenge grant from Feinstein that ends on April 30. Participating congregations/churches include: Hampstead Congregational Church, St. Anne’s Catholic Church, St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, First Baptist Church of Plaistow, Holy Angels Catholic Church, Atkinson Congregational Church, and Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church. 41st annual Sheep Shearing Festival, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Old North Andover Common. Activities include sheep shearing and herding demonstrations, pony rides, a craft fair, food vendors, cowpie bingo, and much more. Free Intro to Yoga, 9 to 10:30 a.m. at UnionStudio Yoga, 305 North Main St., Andover. Open to those who are new to yoga but not quite ready to jump into their first class. Exchange Club of Haverhill’s second annual Recognition Night, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Maria’s Family Restaurant, 81 Essex St., Haverhill. This annual event celebrates education, community, patriotism and partnerships and is exclusively sponsored by Pentucket Bank. Names of the award winners will be announced in April. Tickets are $20 per person. Includes hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, presentations and award ceremonies.
