Mad Machines & Crazy Contraptions — Mad Science Camp, 1 to 4 p.m. at Windham Coop, Industrial Drive. For boys and girls ages 7-12. Cost is $125 per child, $120 for the second in the family. Registration deadline is July 19. Throughout this camp, children will overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors and their minds. With a little bit of ingenuity, children will create catapults and forts, construct working light sticks to take home, and assemble a set of circuits with batteries and light bulbs. windhamnewhampshire.com.

Tots-n-Tykes Tuesday, 10 a.m. to noon at Winnekenni Castle, 347 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill. The theme will be “Dino Dig!” Teachers from Little Sprouts and Imajine That will guide children through educational and creative workshops designed to stimulate little minds. Activities will change each week and will be based on a specific theme. Some activities will be outside. The program is recommended for ages 2 and up. Cost is $8 per child.
