Master Piano Workshop, 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hartleb Technology Center, Northern Essex Community College, 100 Elliott St., Haverhill. Piano players will have an opportunity to perform and learn in a cooperative group setting. Solo piano works and instrumental and vocal works with piano accompaniment of various levels of difficulty will be explored with NECC music faculty member Christina Dietrich. Andover Youth Foundation Spin-a-thon, 9 a.m. to noon at Yang’s Fitness Center, 5 Dundee Park, Andover. Proceeds will benefit the Cormier Youth Center. Professional instructors, along with a DJ, will be on hand. Refreshments will be served. Free Community Skating Event, 1 to 3 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Ice Arena in Haverhill. Hosted by the Ice Skating Academy in celebration of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Organizers are asking for people to donate unwrapped gifts that will be given to The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Haverhill. Ice time and skate rentals are free.
