Council on Aging has Spinners tickets
HAVERHILL — The city's Recreation Department and Council on Aging has tickets to the Lowell Spinners game on July 30 at 7 p.m. Grandparents will receive a complimentary hot dog and soda from the Lowell Spinners. Enter the 'Wild Kingston' contest
KINGSTON — The Conservation Commission will host the Wild Kingston Photo Contest.
The contest is only open to amateurs. The categories are: wildlife, landscapes, and waterscapes and wild plants. Up to three photos may be submitted for each category.
Judging will be done in two age groups: youth (18 and under) and adult (19 and older). Prizes will be awarded during Kingston Days this summer. A juried exhibition will be on display at the new town library.

Plaistow to tie-dye
PLAISTOW — On Monday, June 25, Plaistow Public Library is hosting a tie-dye and ice cream night.
Bring anything you want to dye: hats, bandanas, backpacks and shirts. There will be a few items at the library to dye if you cannot find one at home. Then enjoy some ice cream with the topping of your choice.
It is all free, but participants are asked to register in advance.
New McDonald's celebrates re-opening
METHUEN - A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held June 26 at the new McDonald's at 110 Pleasant Valley St.
The 10 a.m. ceremony will mark the grand reopening of the restaurant. It will feature a flag raising ceremony and performance by the Methuen Community Kindergarten. A donation will also be made to the Nevins Memorial Library.
