Ms. Carroll, Spanish teacher and conductor of the newly forming flute choir at the high school, will travel to Costa Rica to donate recorders to an elementary school.

“Books for Breakfast,” 9 to 11 a.m. at the Hampstead Public Library, 9 Mary E. Clark Drive. This event is designed to give families a chance to spend time together.
