Halloween Double Feature, 6 p.m. at Sanborn Regional High School, 17 Danville Road, Kingston. Hosted by the Sanborn ice hockey team. Includes an all-you-can-eat social hour in the cafeteria, 6 to 7 p.m. Enter to win some Halloween raffles. Then enjoy a complimentary showing of two Halloween movies: “Halloween” (1978) and the Rob Zombie remake of “Halloween.” Both movies are rated R and not appropriate for young children. $7 donation.

Second Annual Knights on the Run 5K Run/Walk & Kids’ Run, at North Andover High School. Sponsored by the North Andover Athletic Association (NAAA). The Kids’ Run (for ages under 12) begins at 9 a.m. The 5K race starts at 9:30 a.m. For runners and walkers of all ages. Awards will be given to first and second place winners in each age category. Registration fees: $25 for preregistered runners/walkers, $30 for walk-in registrations, $5 for Kids’ Run. Online registration deadline is Oct. 18. Andover Marching Band Redeemable Bottle Drive, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the West Middle School parking lot, 70 Shawsheen Road, Andover. Start saving bottles and cans now.
