“To Serve the Common Cause: Haverhill’s Women During the Civil War” Exhibit, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at the Buttonwoods Museum, 240 Water St., Haverhill. Learn about the contributions Haverhill women made to the war effort, see the flag that hat maker Nancy Buswell made of silk ribbons from her shop, and take a guided tour of the museum’s three buildings. Third Annual Dodo 5K Run/Walk, at Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital, 145 Ward Hill Ave., Bradford. In conjunction with the rehabilitation hospital’s 30th birthday celebration.
