Pancake Breakfast, 8 to 10:30 a.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 37 Main St., Salem, N.H. Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Salem. Menu includes scrambled eggs, french toast, pancakes, sausages and beans. $5 for adults, $3 for children, $12 for a family of three or more.

Free Intro to Yoga, 9 to 10:30 a.m. at UnionStudio Yoga, 305 North Main St., Andover. Open to those who are new to yoga but not quite ready to jump into their first class. Nutrition & Health — a medical Meet the Expert seminar, 6 to 7 p.m. in Merrimack Valley Hospital’s first floor auditorium, 140 Lincoln Ave., Haverhill. With Steward Health Care physician William Ingram, MD. Free and open to the public. Registration required. Light refreshments. Parent Orientation Night, 6:30 p.m. at Timberlane Regional School District, 30 Greenough Road, Plaistow. Parents of children residing in Danville and Sandown whose children are eligible to enroll in the Timberlane Regional School District, are urged to call their local elementary school to register them for school. Call before the end of January for information on orientation and registration. Danville residents, call 603-382-5554; Sandown residents, call 603-887-8505. Children who are 6 years old by Sept. 30, 2013, are required by law to attend school. Children who are 5 years old by Sept. 30, 2013, are eligible to attend public kindergarten in September 2013.
