Alzheimer’s Association Northeastern Massachusetts Walk to End Alzheimer’s, beginning and ending at Brickstone Square in Andover. Form a team or walk as an individual. The money raised will help to provide care and support for individuals and families touched by Alzheimer’s and to fund Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Volunteers are needed to help with pre-walk preparations, help hang posters or distribute flyers. alzwalkMANH.org.

North Andover Merchants Association’s Third Annual Fall Festival, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grounds of the North Andover Knights of Columbus, 505 Sutton St. Offers an opportunity for small businesses to promote themselves, their services and products. The festival will include craft exhibitors, music, children’s games and activities, a bounce house, a beer and wine tent, and more. Applications are now being accepted for food vendors, merchants and crafters. Booth space for merchants/crafters is $25 for NAMA members, $75 for nonmembers. Food vendor fee is $50 for NAMA members, $100 for nonmembers. A food permit is required from the Town of North Andover. “Autumn Harvest in New England” Cooking Class, 6 to 9 p.m. at Whittier Vocational School, Haverhill. This hands-on class will incorporate seasonal recipes, classic cooking techniques, and local farm foods to create a harvest dinner to be savored by all.
