Spinning with Wool and Knitting with Yarn, 7 p.m. at the Nevins Memorial Library, 305 Broadway, Methuen. Miss Amy and Miss Shirley will bring in some of the tools and tricks to show attendees the art of spinning wool into yarn and then taking that yarn and making it into cloth. These accomplished artists will share the experience of taking wool from the sheep and bringing it all the way to a finished garment or blanket.
