CIVIL AIR PATROL, Essex County Composite Squadron, meets on Mondays, 6 to 9 p.m. at Lawrence Municipal Airport, 52 Clark Road, North Andover. CAP is a volunteer Air Force Auxiliary, tasked by the Air Force to conduct search and rescue and disaster relief activities, to educate the public on aerospace, and to train young people (ages 12-18) in leadership, character, and the skills necessary to carry out missions.
