Sunday, Oct. 6

21st Annual “Trot for Special Tots,” 10 a.m. starting at The Professional Center for Child Development, 32 Osgood St., Andover. Registration begins at 9 a.m. TheProfessionalCenter.org.

Free Concert, 2 p.m. at the Lawrence Public Library, 51 Lawrence St. Esther Ning-Yau and Eleanor Perrone will perform piano duets featuring the music of Bach, Dvorak, Gluck, Gottschalk, and Rachmaninov. The free concert is supported by the Catherine McCarthy Memorial Trust and the White Fund. A reception will follow the concert. 978-683-8222.

Service of Dedication, 3 p.m. at the Congregational Church, 61 Main St., Hampstead. In celebration of the installation of an additional set of organ pipes, an 8-foot Oboe, to the church’s pipe organ. The new stop will improve weekly Sunday services, organ literature, weddings and commemorative services by providing additional color, depth and enhance tonal resonance. Organist and Choir Director Stephen Laurie-Hermes will play organ music of J. S. Bach, Antonio Vivaldi and Charles Marie-Widor. There will be vocal solo music of Cesar Franck, hymns for congregation and choir, and the church choir will sing a festival anthem by Ralph Vaughan Williams. The public is most cordially invited to attend. A reception of light refreshments will follow the service.

Sports Cards and Bruins Autograph Show, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Gaythorne K of C Hall, 462 Broadway, Methuen. Includes dealer tables of sports cards and memorabilia for sale. Two-time Stanley Cup Champion, Ken Hodge, will sign autographs from 10 a.m. to noon. Admission is $2, $12 for autographs. Call 508-265-4440.

Sunday, Oct. 13

27th Annual Bobby Bell 5-Mile Road Race/Walk, at the Lasting Room Grille, 122 Washington St., Haverhill. The walk begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by the race at 11 a.m. Fee is $25 for pre-entry and $30 post entry. Free T-shirts to the first 70 walker entries and first 260 runner entries. Numerous awards in various age, weight, and specialty categories. Gender graded scoring. A huge buffet will follow along with a DJ, and raffle prizes.
