Craft Fair, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Citizens Center, 10 Welcome St., Haverhill. Hosted by the Council on Aging. Crafters must be age 60 or older, and all items must be handmade. There is no table fee for qualified participants. Call 978-374-2390.

Boy Scout Troop One plans 100th anniversary celebration, 6 p.m. at Northpoint Bible College, 320 South Main St., Bradford. Troop One Haverhill is the oldest troop in the Yankee Clipper Council. There will be a program with a guest speaker followed by dinner. Tickets are $20 per person. Call 978-373-4310.

“Medical Practices in the Civil War and How They Led Us to Today,” 1 to 3 p.m. at the Nevins Library, 305 Broadway, Methuen. Dr. Ira Spar, a member of the Society of Civil War Surgeons, will present a discussion on the life and times in a Civil War hospital. He will also cover how the returning Civil War Union soldiers received health care through the auspices of the federal government.
