Master Piano Workshops, 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hartleb Technology Center, Northern Essex Community College, 100 Elliott St., Haverhill. Piano players will have an opportunity to perform and learn in a cooperative group setting. Solo piano works and instrumental and vocal works with piano accompaniment of various levels of difficulty will be explored with NECC music faculty member Christina Dietrich. Rail Trail Mural dedication, 4 p.m. on the back of Arthur Sharp’s Hardware. The mural is a service learning project of the Access 21 after-school program at Haverhill High School. The Massachusetts Cultural Council helped fund this project and has invited State Sen. Kathleen O’Connor Ives, chair of the Tourism, Arts, and Cultural Development Committee. Mayor James Fiorentini also plans to attend.
