The Chester Lions Club, offers a $1,000 college scholarship to a high school graduate from Chester. Forms are available in the guidance office at Pinkerton Academy. For more information, call Bruce Baker at 603-887-4424.

Bridge Club, held Mondays at 12:30 p.m. at the Marion Gerrish Community Center, Room 2A, 39 West Broadway, Derry. Free to join. Pre-registration is not necessary. Offered by Derry Parks and Recreation. For more information, call 603-432-6136.

Quota International of Lawrence, offers two scholarships to high school students. The scholarships will be awarded based on need, hardship and community involvement. Students who attend Lawrence High School, Methuen High School, North Andover High School, Central Catholic High School, Presentation of Mary Academy, The Greater Lawrence Vocational School and Notre Dame Academy are eligible to apply for these scholarships. Applications are available in the schools’ Guidance Offices.

The Methuen Exchange Club, meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:45 p.m. at Michael’s Sweetheart Inn, 80 Myrtle St., Methuen. The public is welcome to learn what the club is all about. For more information, contact Brad at eagletr50@aol.com or Arthur at stogking@aol.com.

GFWC Salem Woman’s Club, meets on the first Tuesday of each month, except July and August, noon to 2 p.m. in the Beshara Room of the Kelley Library, 234 Main St., Salem, N.H. Meetings are open to all area women. For more information, call 603-893-0756.

The North Andover Rotary Club, a nonprofit organization, meets every Thursday at 7:30 a.m. in the Edgewood Retirement Community cafeteria. All are welcome.

The Hampstead Civic Club Chess Club, will meet on Fridays from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m. in the Hampstead Civic Club building, located next to Town Hall. The chess club is free and open to all Hampstead residents in grades 3-12. For more information, call Charlie Backman at 603-329-5867.
