Immigration reform vigil outside Romney HQ
Advocates for immigration reform plan to hold a vigil outside the Boston Exhibition and Convention Center Tuesday night as former Gov. Mitt Romney holds his election night party inside the South Boston hall. (Tuesday, 8 p.m., Boston Exhibition & Convention Center, 415 Summer Street, South Boston)
Where they will be
U.S. Sen. Scott Brown will hold his election night celebration at the Park Plaza Hotel, just a short walk from Elizabeth Warren’s party.
Brown’s party will no-doubt draw pols from around the state to the Park Plaza, although Republicans will be torn about whether to join Brown or former Gov. Mitt Romney at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. The senator’s daughter will perform as part of the Ayla Brown band along with The Reminisants, an oldies band.
Elizabeth Warren will hold her election night party at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, which will assuredly become a gathering spot for the state’s down-ticket Democrats as well.
Richard Tisei who is challenging Congressman John Tierney, will hold his election night party at the Peabody Marriott. The Republican challenger has gained attention throughout the country as pundits have predicted he has a good chance at capturing the seat.
