Candidates pack schedules with appearances

With the New Hampshire presidential primary looming, Republican candidates are stepping up appearances throughout the Granite State.

Today

Newt Gingrich: Windham/Salem Town Hall, 7 p.m., Salem High School, 44 Geremonty Drive, Salem.

Fred Karger: Outreach to youth, 11 a.m., Dartmouth College, Collis Center, Hanover.

Ron Paul: Hangar Rally, 2 p.m., Jet Aviation, 83 Perimeter Road, Nashua; Town Hall Meeting, 7 p.m., UNH Memorial Union Building, Granite State Room, 83 Main St., Durham.

Mitt Romney: Spaghetti Dinner, 6 p.m., Tilton School, Knowles Hall, 30 School St., Tilton.

Buddy Roemer: Barrington Town Hall, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Turbocam, Barrington; Jaffrey VFW visit, 3:30 to 4 p.m., Jaffrey.

Rick Santorum: Town Hall Meeting, 1 p.m., Dublin School auditorium, 18 Lehmann Way, Dublin; Keene Town Hall, 9:30 a.m.; Keene Library basement auditorium, 60 Winter St., Keene; Manchester Town Hall, 3:30 p.m., Belmont Hall, 718 Grove St., Manchester

Many candidates will be at the Hillsborough County Republican Primary Gala, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.; Crowne Plaza Hotel, Nashua.
