Class Memories
The freshmen class trip to New York was such a great start to our years at Central! We all look so different in the group picture from the trip than we do four years later. It is like our class song says, "How Far We've Come." We have all changed and accomplished so much since that trip four years ago. Our class has given over 8,000 hours in community service, won state championships including girls basketball (2009) and boys basketball (2008), raised over $35,000 for breast cancer research, and led many spiritual and leadership retreats that have definitely changed our world and made us better people.
The Catwalk for Cancer is something we are proud to have organized! This was a great time for a great cause. This year alone, the students rocked the runway and raised over $20,000 to help find a cure for breast cancer. Through events like this, our class has deservedly earned a reputation for serving the least favored. We have tried to truly live out the mission of Central Catholic in every way we can, as a class and as individuals. We'll always remember the hypnotist at our 2009 Spirit Show! It was completely hilarious and the perfect end to a great Spirit Week. Our classmates' willingness to be the subjects definitely made for some of the funniest and most memorable moments of our senior year. Our class has tremendous spirit and a great sense of humor. We never take ourselves too seriously.
