Haverhill meeting on paid parking is set for Monday

HAVERHILL — The public will have an opportunity to comment on the city’s paid parking program when Mayor James Fiorentini hosts an informational meeting on the program Monday at 7 p.m. at 90 Washington St., next to the Tap restaurant.

City officials — including the mayor, members of the city’s Parking Commission and Public Works Director Michael Stankovich, director of the parking program — will provide an overview of the plan and gather feedback from residents and businesses.

Topics include how the plan is working, the change from parallel parking along the north side of Bailey Boulevard, and other issues related to the paid parking program, which went into effect Aug. 1.
