---- — Due to the forecast of a winter storm today, “A Conversation with Meryl Streep” has been rescheduled for April 1.
The event is sponsored by UMass Lowell. Tickets, including student tickets, will be honored on April 1.
Ticket-holders seeking refunds should do so at the place of purchase by Feb. 18. Those who purchased tickets over the phone or online should contact the call center at 866-722-8780 to request a refund. Those who purchased tickets at the Tsongas Center should process a refund in person at the box office during normal business hours.

Buttonwoods plans Victorian Valentine’s Day Party on Feb. 13
The Buttonwoods Museum will hold a Victorian Valentine’s Day Party on Feb. 13 from 3 to 6 p.m.
Activities including making old-fashioned valentines, enjoying tea and cookies, and learning about party etiquette in the late 19th century. This event is open to all, including dolls and teddy bears. Suggested donation is $10 for a family. Registration is not required. More information is available by emailing email@example.com.
Endocrinologist joins local hospitals
Merrimack Valley Hospital and Holy Family Hospital announced that Board Certified Endocrinologist Neil Ravin, MD, has joined Steward Medical Group, part of the Steward Health Care System, and began his practice this week.
As part of the Steward Merrimack Valley Endocrinology Center, Ravin will lead a diabetes care program. The program will be part of the Steward Diabetes Care Program which helps patients better manage their disease. Nationally recognized by the American Diabetes Association, it already exists at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Ravin will provide care at Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill and at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, where he will join Board Certified Endocrinologist Naaznin Lokhandwala, MD, in the Steward Holy Family Hospital Endocrinology Center.
