Voter registration deadline looming
Tomorrow is the last day to register to vote in the special state election for U.S. Senate to be held on Tuesday, June 25.
The city clerk’s office in City Hall, 4 Summer St., will have extended hours, opening at 8 a.m. and closing at 8 p.m. for residents who want to register, change voting address or change party enrollment. United States citizens and Massachusetts residents who will be 18 on or before election day are eligible to register to vote. Those registering by mail-in registration forms must have those forms postmarked no later than June 5.
Pancake breakfast planned
The Greater Haverhill Breakfast Exchange Club will hold a pancake breakfast on Saturday, June 15 from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Sarah’s Place Adult Day Health, 180 Water St. This event is being held to raise funds to provide services to senior citizens in Greater Haverhill.
