Cost for the entire evening is $20 per person. Those who only want to attend the worship service, for which there is no fee, can come at 6:30 p.m. Dress is casual, as participants will be kneeling on the floor around a cross.
The service will conclude at 7:45 p.m. Register for “Still Waters ... Taize” by calling 978-682-8815 or visiting www.rollingridge.org. Rolling Ridge, a not-for-profit ministry of hospitality of the New England Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, is at 660 Great Pond Road.
Taize is a small village in southern France where an ecumenical monastic community of 100 brothers from Protestant and Catholic traditions is located. The community offers a ministry of reconciliation that started toward the end of World War II.
The brothers welcome thousands of young people to Taize every summer for prayer and renewal. Their style of worship and music have spread across the globe.
