Session 2, Gadgets & Contraptions, is Aug. 5 to 8. Invention and discovery are key parts of the history of our nation. Campers will learn how gadgets work, where materials come from and create their own inventions. Activities include building circuits and switches, designing newspaper structures and building simple machines. Nature, technology, cooking, engineering, a field trip, and crazy ideas are all part of this week of design fun. Cost is $175.
