---- — Police in Haverhill are asking the public for help in locating the driver of a car that struck and injured a 10-year-old boy who was in a crosswalk along with several other boys.

The hit-and-run accident happened Monday at 5:05 p.m. Police said about five boys were attempting to cross Broadway and were in a crosswalk in front of the St. Joseph School Bowling Alley when a vehicle that was heading into Lafayette Square and traveling east on Broadway stopped to let them cross.
