NORTH ANDOVER — Jon Favreau, former assistant to the president and director of speech writing for President Obama, will discuss public discourse and social change as part of Merrimack College’s Speaker Series.
Favreau, co-founder of Fenway Strategies and a columnist for the Daily Beast, will speak April 15 at 7 p.m. in Merrimack’s Rogers Center for the Arts. The talk is free and open to the public.
“Jon Favreau will be an inspirational speaker, especially for our students,” said Christopher E. Hopey, Ph.D., president of the college. “His career exemplifies Merrimack’s core values of leadership, awareness and service, and his personal success is further proof that hard work and intellectual capability pave the way for young men and women.”
