Haverhill library hosting photography exhibit this month

The public library is hosting a photography exhibit by Nelson Agbesi through the end of the month.

Agbesi enjoyed spending his leisure time taking pictures until he fell in love with photography. He became intrigued by how the camera works and the whole system of making the actual photograph.

“Photography is a picture language spoken with style and passion in the heart,” said Agbesi, who specializes in portraits and conceptual photography.

This exhibit can be seen in the second floor gallery during regular library hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The library will be closed Jan. 21, for the Martin Luther King holiday.
