Public invited to learn about NECC
Those interested in learning more about Northern Essex Community College are invited to attend an Open House on Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Hartleb Technology Center on the college’s Haverhill campus, 100 Elliott St.
Visitors can take a tour of the Haverhill campus, learn about financial aid, and explore the college’s more than 70 academic programs. Topics to be discussed will include transfer options after graduating from NECC, support services available to help students succeed and the many clubs, sports, and other opportunities available to students.
This open house is geared toward high school juniors and seniors and their families, as well as adult students who are considering returning to school for career or personal growth. Children’s Book Club starts soon
PELHAM — The Children’s Book Club, “Tuesdays with Stories,” starts Oct. 16 at 3:30 p.m. at Pelham Public Library.
The program is for readers in grades two and up.
