Minibike worth $1,200 stolen from storage area

HAVERHILL — A minibike valued at $1,200 was stolen from the storage area of a Moore Street apartment, police said.

The victim told Officer Harry Miller the minibike, an orange KTM 50cc model, belonged to her child and was in the storage area when she checked on it at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The storage area door for her apartment was locked at that time, but when she went to the area about 4 p.m. Wednesday, she found the door unlocked and the minibike missing.

The theft was reported at 4:17 p.m. Wednesday, police said.
