Veterans Day Parade is Nov. 11, not tomorrow

HAVERHILL — The city’s annual Veterans Day Parade is Nov. 11, not tomorrow as previously reported.

Organizers said they want to bring to the public’s attention that the event is on a Sunday, which is unusual. Because Veterans Day falls on that day, the parade will also happen then, they said.

Friday’s Eagle-Tribune erroneously reported that the parade is tomorrow.

The parade will form at 10 a.m. in front of VFW Post 29 on Kenoza Avenue. The march will begin at 10:30 a.m. and proceed to Monument Square, and then down Main Street to the Global Peace Monument on Ginty Boulevard. There, services will be held. The event will end after the services.

A buffet luncheon will be held after the services at the American Legion Farm, 1314 Main St.
