Seminar on Nutrition and Health is Feb. 5

Nutrition and Health, a medical Meet the Expert seminar with Steward Health Care physician William Ingram, MD, is Feb. 5, from 6 to 7 p.m. in Merrimack Valley Hospital’s first floor auditorium.

Attendees will understand the importance of nutrition in health, identify misconceptions in nutrition and health and learn what is myth and truth about herbal medicine.

Chunky’s offers free movie for seniors

Chunky’s Cinema is offering seniors free showings of “The Graduate” on Jan. 23 at noon. Any group size is welcome and reservations of eight people or more can be made in advance by calling 888-879-9001 or emailing wdavis@chunkys.com.

Council on Aging offers day trips

The Council on Aging is offering a trip to see a “Toast to Dean Martin and Marilyn Monroe” April 16 at Venus de Milo in Swansea for $75 per person.

The Don Who? Show will entertain April 26 at Wrights Farm Restaurant in Harrisville, R.I. Cost is $49 per person.
