Neighbors encouraged to report vandalism

HAVERHILL — Police said the tires of three vehicles parked on Ashworth Terrace were sliced and although the vandalism was reported, similar recent incidents in the same area were not.

Police are asking residents to let them know about incidents such as these so officers can investigate. Deputy Chief Donald Thompson said an Ashworth Terrace neighbor notified police on Tuesday afternoon that the tires of a mini-van and two cars were slashed.

“Within the last week there are several other people who’ve had their tires sliced, but didn’t report it,” Thompson said. “We are asking the victims of crimes to let us know about it.”
