LAWRENCE — The City of Lawrence will hold a public forum Tuesday, July 8 at 6 p.m. to discuss a 10-year license agreement with Comcast Cable that allows Comcast to offer services in Lawrence. During the meeting, residents will be asked to weigh in on the license agreement and past performance based on the current license that is set to expire November 2014. Residents are also asked to consider their future needs and interests regarding Comcast service. Information on the public forum is below.

Windham basketball, tennis courts open
WINDHAM — The basketball court and tennis courts at Nashua Road are now open and the tennis court nets have been replaced.
The courts had been closed since June 23 for repairs.
Vermont Tennis Courts from St. Johnsbury, Vt., fixed cracks on all courts and replaced posts on the tennis courts. They also repainted lines.
Free Vacation Bible School offered
HAVERHILL — King of Grace Church is offering a free Vacation Bible School program that runs July 7 to 11, from 9 a.m. to noon.

’Budding Botanists’ welcome at camp
WINDHAM — The Recreation Department is searching for boys and girls ages 4 to 6 to attend its Budding Botanists camp.
Children will explore the world of a garden, including seeds, weather and creepy, crawly inhabitants.
Registration for the camp ends July 12 and costs $130 per child. The camp will run Monday, Aug. 4, through Thursday, Aug. 7, from 1 to 4 p.m. each day.
The camp will take place at the Windham Cooperative Kindergarten and Nursery School at 12 Industrial Drive.
