Police log

HAVERHILL — A Vine Street man came home from work Sunday morning and found numerous empty beer bottles in his home, police said.

Richard McHardy told police he also found $600 in cash missing.

Deputy Chief Donald Thompson said yesterday the incident is under investigation.

The incident was reported at 11:23 a.m. Sunday, police said.

Friday

Arrest: Jonathan Torres, 24, Swasey Street, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, High and Blaisdell streets, 6:05 p.m.

Arrest: James Grandmont, 37, 33 Charles St., disorderly conduct, threatening to commit a crime, South Main Street, 7:22 p.m.

Arrest: Stephanie Williams, 18, 5 Westwind Drive, Methuen, driving under the influence of alcohol, 100 Bank Road, 10:15 p.m.

Arrest: Diego Gomez, 18, 23 Nichols St., minor in possession of alcoholic beverages, 18 Nichols St., 10:40 p.m.

Saturday

Arrest: Juan Reyes, 51, 140 Summer St., assault and battery on a household member, 140 Summer St., 9:15 p.m.

Sunday

Arrest: Hector Negron, 23, 56 Howard St., assault and battery on a household member, witness intimidation, violation of a court order, 12 Observatory Ave., 12:35 a.m.

Loud music: 71 12th Ave., 1:18 a.m.

Arrest: Michael Barbosa, 33, 5 Peters Lane, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, 5 Peters Lane, 1:45 a.m.

Disturbance: Arch Street, 3:23 p.m.

Disturbance: 34 Observatory Ave., 10:33 p.m.

Car theft: 85 High St., 10:59 a.m.

Disturbance: 137 S. Elm St., 11:23 a.m.

Arrest: John Eason, 49, 3 Greenough Road, Plaistow, N.H., breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony, larceny over $250, assault and battery, 52 Merrill St., 11:39 a.m.

Car crash: 1100 Main St., under investigation, 12:17 p.m.

Arrest: Michele Landis, 46, 12 Lou-Al Lane, Salem, N.H., trespassing, 100 S. Kimball St., 1 p.m.

Disturbance: 196 Golden Hill Ave., 1:23 p.m.

Car crash: Broadway, under investigation, 2:14 p.m.

Car crash: 8 Knipe Road, under investigation, 5:02 p.m.

Disturbance: 4 S. Kimball St., 7 p.m.

Vandalism: 164 S. Pleasant St., car damaged, 10 p.m.

Burglary: 318 Boxford Road, 11:57 p.m.
