LONDONDERRY — A traffic shift is planned for Route 28 tomorrow.
State transportation officials said the move is associated with construction of new Interstate 93 bridges at Exit 5.
The work is slated for 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.
Traffic delays are expected, with flaggers and officers occasionally stopping northbound and southbound traffic on Route 28.
Ongoing work will require a detour at Auburn Road for about two weeks, due to reconstruction of that intersection. Traffic will be detoured to Route 28 and Liberty Drive via Independence Drive.
