Bank account established for fire victims

HAVERHILL — Mayor James Fiorentini announced yesterday that the city has set up an account at Pentucket Bank to support the families that were displaced by the fire this past Wednesday at Forest Acres in Bradford.

Donations can be made at the following Pentucket Bank locations: 1 Merrimack St., 395 Lowell Ave. at Westgate Plaza and 120 Lincoln Avenue. All of the money collected will go directly to the families.

“When the fire first started, our residents reached out to my office to lend a hand,” Fiorentini said. “Our community once again has united in a time of need.”

Fiorentini said the city has opened this account to give residents an opportunity to donate to the displaced residents of the fire.

“I want to thank the fire, police, the State Fire Marshal’s Office and all first responders for their dedicated work in our city,” Fiorentini said.
