ID cards for seniors available Dec. 13
Secondary photo identification cards for seniors will be available at the Citizens Center, 10 Welcome St., Thursday, Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. to noon. Seniors must bring at least one of the following primary photo identifications: Mass. driver’s license, U.S. passport, or Registry of Motor Vehicles Identification card. Council on Aging has New Year’s Eve Day party at Castleton
The Council on Aging and Best of Times will hold a New Year’s Eve Day party at Castleton in Windham, N.H. Entertainment will be provided by “One for the Road,” a Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin tribute. Guests have their choice of maple Dijon glazed port loin w/apple chutney or chicken marsala. Dancing will be to the music of the Ray Cavicchio band. Tickets are $54 per person, and transportation is on your own. Boys and Girls Club raffle offers $5,000 grand prize
The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Haverhill is holding a Back-A-Kid Holiday Raffle featuring a grand prize of $5,000 and a runner-up prize of four tickets to see the Boston Celtics. Only 150 tickets will be sold at $100 each. All of the proceeds will go directly to the Boys and Girls Club of Haverhill’s 2012 Back-A-Kid campaign, which supports the club’s mission of enabling all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
