Ruth’s House reschedules 20th annniversary event

Ruth’s House, a nonprofit thrift store at 111 Lafayette Square, is moving up the date of its 20th anniversary celebration to April 11, mostly to allow more time to plan the event.

In the meantime, please consider all those unused winter clothing items in your closet and lighten the load by bringing them to Ruth’s House, where they will be distributed to people in the community. Donations may be dropped off on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. The shop is closed Sunday and Monday. Ruth’s House is also looking for volunteers willing to donate as little or as much time as they are able. For more information call 978-521-5575 or visit online at ruthshouse.org.
